The first night I arrived at the Rosomoff Center, when my pain was still very bad, I lay in bed saying “I have to be positive . . . don’t say you can’t do it.”I promised to try everything and not to quit. And I especially promised not to compare myself to anyone else.
And then I started therapy the next day. The atmosphere and the energy you feel here is so positive--and that made me positive.
I still have some pain, but I am very flexible and stronger. The pain that is left, is pain that I can control. Before treatment here, I could control nothing. Before I came here, I was in pain 24 hours a day. When it was really bad, I was literally frozen.
I have never seen a team like this.I want to thank my therapists who pushed me a little bit farther every day.Even those who were not my therapists were watching over me, correcting, and comforting. This is a fantastic place!I came to the Center in a wheelchair, and I told my husband, “I will walk out of here.”I worked very hard and I am walking out!
