“There had to be something out there that could really help”

This is the story of my journey. In the past three and a half years, I have been to three orthopedists, including one who gave me an unneeded hip replacement.I saw one neurosurgeon who told me all I had to do was swim two miles every day and all my problems would be fixed. You try swimming two miles a day!A neurologist told me to “stay in bed” until I felt better.Next I saw two chiropractors and two acupuncturists.  I underwent three months of spinal decompression—useless. There were many rounds of physical therapy, massage, and Rolfing.I attended two pain centers in Tampa which gave me three epidural injections, three facet joint injections, and lots of pills. There was a visit to a laser spine institute in Tampa and I decided that was too scary to even consider.I saw three surgeons at New York’s “top” hospitals. Two of them recommended fusion. The other wanted to do a laminectomy immediately.I even went to a Chinese herbalist in Singapore, though I didn’t make the trip just for that.Nothing helped and I kept getting worse.I knew there had to be something out there that could really help.

Finally I was recommended to the Rosomoff Center by three people, one of whom is my daughter’s Father-in-Law, a retired orthopedic surgeon. He knew better than to have surgery, and he came here with fabulous results when he was in his early 80’s.He’s now in his mid 90’s.

This place is the best . . . the facilities . . . the staff.Every one of you are caring, real, and kind people—not what I found before, in my long quest through the medical mess that is out there.I’m so much better. I know how to take care of myself and I know if there are any bumps in the road, this amazing place is only a phone call away.Thank you everybody.
