Ergonomics Program
Ergonomics discovers and applies information about human abilities, behaviors, and other characteristics to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, and environments for productive, safe and effective human use.
The Ergonomics Center of the Rosomoff Comprehensive Pain Center (RCPC) is committed to the delivery of a new breed, state of the art, health-through-technology, personalized health and safety services to those suffering from musculoskeletal disorders or pain and to those attempting to avoid the incidence of such devastating problems. These services supplement a versatile line of rehabilitative services offered by the Ergonomics Center and by the RCPC.
ABOUT US
The Ergonomics Center of the Rosomoff Comprehensive Pain Center has been in operation since 1982. Since then, the Center has devised clinically-driven, scientifically valid, innovative methods in order to address, deal with, and solve problems at home and in the workplace. The effectiveness and efficiency of these methods and their utilization has been tested repeatedly, and their validity has been established and published. The thrust of the Ergonomic approach is to prevent injuries / cumulative trauma in the workplace and at home; and promote safety and wellness.

To Promote safety education and awareness, health, and wellness with the aim of optimizing all aspects of human performance and well-being in all areas (work, leisure, home, activities of daily living, healthcare)
To enhance the effectiveness of facilities that people use to achieve higher productivity, improved health, and greater satisfaction.
OUR APPROACH....
Our services are provided by a staff consisting of full-time qualified Ergonomists and Industrial Engineers. Available to them are the resources of the licensed therapists, physicians, nurses, vocational counselors, and other full-time members of clinical and support staff of the Comprehensive Pain Center.

Conveniently located on the campus of the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital for the Aged. Free parking is available.
HOURS....?
Appointments for evaluation, consultation, and/or treatment are scheduled at your convenience within the times available. We accommodate evening, and weekend appointments at our location or yours.
